Tiny tour

We had another �what kind of car should we buy?� conversation the other night. At some point towards the end of our discussion, Terence admitted, �I don�t want to buy a car. I�d rather get a Fast Pass or a Carte Orange!� and that pretty much summed up everything. We�d each prefer to live in a place where a car is optional.

The weekend was fun. The inn had the most comfortable beds and giant pillows ever, and true to the photos on the website, the decor was just Colonial enough. I inhaled a delicious salad in Watch Hill, R.I., lost $3.50 at the Mohegan Sun casino, drank Sancerre by the beach, walked around Mystic and Chester, and saw Gillette Castle. I didn�t eat lobster, but I did sample some quite delicious fried scallops.

Speaking of sampling, I totally dropped the ball on making my appointment for the Prada and Miu Miu sample sales! I got an email reminder a few weeks ago, and let it get buried in my inbox and now only crap shopping dates remain. Oh well. I liked the Spring collections, but I wasn�t in love. After all, I am a Fall.

Not much else to report, except that A) this is funny, and B) I wish we had better tv reception so I could watch Olympic footage
